Labor Day Trip.

We decided to fly a plane out to Crested Butte, Colorado over Labor Day Weekend.

First stop Marble Canyon, home to a little Indian diner that makes hot Navajo Fry Bread with honey.

We parked at KGUC (Gunnison, Colorado). Hanging with jets from the Middle East.

The hills are alive... Chauncey likes Crested Butte.

So Do We !

Landing at Telluride, the second highest airstrip in the U.S. The airport loaned us a crew car that we drove into town for lunch.

The Saratoga is big and comfy and reasonably fast like a big ol' Buick.

Monument Valley from the air.

Monument Valley on the ground.

Quick rest stop in Valle, AZ which houses an old airplane museum.

Arty Mig 15 in Valle.

Final Leg Over Arizona.

Van Nuys - 16R on the Numbers !
